Signs you need setup, not another spreadsheet
You sell what you do not have. Two people keep different customer lists. GST invoices and stock do not agree. Purchase orders live in chat. Those are ERP and accounting problems. A new homepage will not fix them.
What ERP setup actually includes
Company and tax setup, masters (items, customers, vendors), users and roles, the first real documents, and training for the people who will post them. Implementation is not a login. If training and opening balances are missing from a quote, you are buying licences, not a running system.
Start small, stay honest
A small business can begin with books plus inventory, or CRM plus invoices — not every module in the brochure. ERP Saarthi will say when Tally or Zoho Books is enough, and when a wider ERP is worth the disruption. We do not treat ERP as an add-on to a website project.
